NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Tuesday at 4pm, before stepping into the unlock 2 of the country amid Corona crisis. The Prime Minister announced the extension of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana till November and said that the poor and needy will now get free food grains till Diwali and Chhath. He further mentioned that During this time, 5 kg of wheat or 5 kg of rice will be given free to 80 crore people by the government. Apart from this, one kg of gram will also be given free to each family. 90 thousand crore rupees will be spent on this. This announcement by PM Modi has been targeted by MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi. He mentioned many of his festivals but forgot about Bakrid.
Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted Prime Minister Modi for not mentioning China in his address. He wrote in his tweet tagging the Prime Minister’s Office-“Aaj china par bolana tha, bol gae chana par. Asal mein isaki jaroorat bhee thi ki kyonki aapake aniyojit lockdown se kaee log bhookhe rah gae hain.” He added, you listed many festivals in coming months but missed Baqr Eid?
